Lahore Underground Parking Projects Reach Major Construction Milestone
The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has reported significant progress on two underground parking projects in Lahore, with the main structural work now completed at both sites.
The projects at Neela Gumbad and Nasir Bagh have entered the finishing stage as work continues toward completion.
Neela Gumbad Parking Plaza
According to the LDA, the grey structure of the Neela Gumbad underground parking plaza has been completed.
Construction teams are now carrying out finishing work across all three basement levels of the facility.
The development is aimed at providing additional parking capacity in one of Lahore’s busy central areas.
Nasir Bagh Project Also Nears Completion
The LDA said the Nasir Bagh underground parking plaza has also reached a major milestone, with 100% of its grey structure completed.
Both underground basement levels have been structurally completed, while finishing and related works are currently underway.
Finishing Work Continues
With the major structural phase completed at both locations, attention has shifted towards finishing activities and other remaining works.
The LDA said progress is being maintained on the projects as part of the city’s ongoing development initiatives.
The authority added that the two parking facilities are being developed under the Punjab government’s broader urban development programme.
Once completed and opened for public use, the projects are expected to provide additional parking facilities in central Lahore and help improve parking management in surrounding areas.
