More Monsoon Rains Expected Across Pakistan, PMD Issues Weather Forecast

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast another spell of monsoon rainfall across several parts of the country over the coming days as a low-pressure area (LPA) continues to influence weather conditions.

According to the Met Office, the weather system is currently located over southwest Rajasthan and adjoining regions. As a result, monsoon currents are penetrating southern and central parts of Pakistan, increasing the likelihood of rain, thunderstorms, and isolated heavy falls in many areas.

Strong winds and lightning may also affect weak structures such as temporary installations, billboards, electric poles, and rooftop solar panels.

Residents, travelers, and tourists are encouraged to monitor local weather updates and exercise caution during the forecast period. Farmers are also advised to plan agricultural activities according to the expected weather conditions and ensure proper care of livestock.
