Pakistan Players Improve in Latest ICC Men’s ODI Rankings

Several Pakistan cricketers have moved up in the latest ICC Men’s ODI Rankings, with improvements in both the batting and bowling charts following recent international ODI results.

Although Pakistan has not played ODI cricket over the past month, performances in the recently concluded West Indies vs New Zealand ODI series led to ranking updates across the leaderboard.

Babar Azam Climbs to Sixth Position

Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam moved up one place in the ICC ODI batting rankings. He now occupies sixth position with 689 rating points.

Middle-order batter Salman Ali Agha also made progress, climbing two spots to 16th place with 630 rating points.

Other Pakistan batters in the latest rankings include:

  • Mohammad Rizwan – 31st (560 points)
  • Fakhar Zaman – 37th (544 points)
  • Saim Ayub – 44th

Shaheen Shah Afridi climbed two places to seventh with 604 rating points, while Haris Rauf advanced to 20th position with 556 points.

  • Abrar Ahmed – 2nd
  • Naseem Shah – 49th
  • Mohammad Wasim Jr. – 70th
  • Mohammad Nawaz – 80th
