Pakistan Raises Petrol and Diesel Prices Again
The federal government has announced another increase in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD), following the latest fuel price revision based on rates reported by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
Under the latest revision, the price of petrol has increased by Rs. 4.10 per litre, reaching Rs. 384.34 per litre. The price of high-speed diesel has also gone up by Rs. 6.41 per litre, taking its price to Rs. 415.83 per litre.
The latest adjustment marks another increase in fuel prices during the ongoing daily revision mechanism.
Previous Fuel Price Increase
A day earlier, on September 14, petrol had become Rs. 4.42 per litre more expensive, rising to Rs. 380.24 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of diesel increased by Rs. 6.10 to Rs. 409.42 per litre.
Fuel Prices Under Daily Revision
Since the start of the daily fuel price revision, petrol has increased by Rs. 73.04 per litre, while diesel has recorded an overall increase of Rs. 86.32 per litre.
