Pakistan’s Anita Karim Makes History with Selection for UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter Season 34

Anita Karim has been selected for The Ultimate Fighter Season 34, becoming the first fighter from Pakistan to feature in the prestigious MMA reality show.

The upcoming season, titled Team Cormier vs. Team Bisping, is scheduled to premiere on June 14, 2026. The series is part of the Ultimate Fighting Championship talent development platform, which has helped launch the careers of several top UFC athletes.

Historic Milestone for Pakistan in MMA

Anita Karim, known in the fighting circuit as “The Arm Collector,” holds a professional record of 6–2 and will compete in the women’s strawweight division.

Her inclusion marks a significant milestone for Pakistani mixed martial arts, as she becomes the first representative from the country to join the globally recognized reality competition.

Competition Format and Coaches

The season will feature 20 fighters in total, split between 10 men’s bantamweights and 10 women’s strawweights. However, only 16 competitors will enter the official tournament bracket, while four fighters will serve as alternates.

The contestants will be coached by UFC legends Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping.

Global Lineup of Fighters

This season features athletes from around the world, including competitors from South Asia, Europe, North America, and Latin America.

The women’s strawweight lineup includes fighters from Brazil, the United States, France, Argentina, and Pakistan, highlighting the international nature of the competition.

Opportunity for Future UFC Career

The Ultimate Fighter has long served as a stepping stone for fighters aiming to secure a contract with the UFC. A strong performance in the show could open the door for Karim to compete at the highest level of professional MMA in the future.
