Petrol Price Revised: Petrol Slightly Cheaper, Diesel Becomes Costlier Under Daily Pricing System
The federal government has announced revised fuel prices under its newly introduced daily fuel price adjustment mechanism.
According to an official notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs. 0.35 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs. 315.80 per litre.
On the other hand, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has increased by Rs. 5.71 per litre, with the new price set at Rs. 360.06 per litre.

The revised prices became effective immediately following the government’s announcement.
The latest adjustment comes as Pakistan begins implementing a daily fuel pricing mechanism, allowing prices to reflect changes in international oil markets more frequently.
Global crude oil prices have remained volatile in recent days due to ongoing geopolitical developments, with Brent crude trading at around $90 per barrel at the time of reporting.
In the previous price revision, petrol had increased by Rs. 5.44 per litre, while High-Speed Diesel saw a much larger increase of Rs. 31.05 per litre.
