Petrol Price Rises Again, Diesel Rate Declines
Pakistan’s petrol price has increased again, while the price of diesel has moved lower, according to the latest fuel price update issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
The price of petrol has risen by Rs. 4.61 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs. 393.75 per litre. Meanwhile, diesel has become Rs. 1.96 per litre cheaper, bringing its price down to Rs. 422.08 per litre.
The latest revision comes shortly after a reduction announced on September 18. At that time, petrol was priced at Rs. 389.14 per litre, while diesel stood at Rs. 424.04 per litre.
Fuel Price Trend
Fuel prices have changed frequently since Pakistan introduced daily revisions. Based on the available rates, petrol has increased by Rs. 83.04 per litre, while diesel has risen by Rs. 98.78 per litre since the start of the daily pricing system.
