Calatagan Polo Club celebrated their first win in the high goal Terralpa Silver Cup after an intense overtime battle against Prince Mateen Bolkiah’s MB Polo. Led by Marty Romualdez, the Philippine side bounced back from their opening defeat to Dos Lunas, edging out the Brunei-based team 13-12 in a thrilling contest.
Following the victory, star player Polito Pieres shared his thoughts with PoloLine. He spoke about joining the Philippine organisation, the team’s journey, and his outlook for the upcoming 2025 season in Argentina. Pieres is set to play for UAE alongside Juan Martín Nero, Lukin Monteverde, and Tomás Panelo, aiming for a strong campaign in the competitive Argentine polo circuit.
