Punjab Govt to Launch Second Phase of Laptop Distribution for Students

The Punjab government has announced the launch of the second phase of its laptop distribution scheme aimed at supporting talented and deserving students.

According to the Higher Education Department (HED), the laptops will be distributed on a merit basis starting next month. A detailed schedule has already been prepared, and the Chief Minister of Punjab is expected to inaugurate the ceremony in the first or second week of September.


First Phase Achievements

In the initial phase, more than 14,000 laptops were distributed among students in Lahore. The upcoming phase will further expand the program to include students across the province, ensuring wider access to digital learning resources.
