Sindh Reports Mpox Cases and Deaths, Health Authorities Issue Advisory

Health authorities in Sindh have reported multiple cases of Mpox this year, along with confirmed fatalities, according to the provincial health department.

The Sindh Health Department stated that a total of 25 laboratory-confirmed Mpox cases have been recorded so far, while several additional suspected cases remain under observation.

🏥 Recent Case Updates

Officials confirmed that two new cases were reported within the last 24 hours, including one each from Karachi and Khairpur.

Most confirmed cases have been reported from Khairpur, followed by Karachi and Sukkur.

⚠️ Health Advisory Issued

The health department has urged citizens to remain cautious and follow preventive measures to help control the spread of the disease. People have been advised to seek immediate medical attention if symptoms appear.

Medical professionals have also been instructed to follow strict infection control protocols, especially when dealing with vulnerable patients, including newborns.

🧬 Ongoing Monitoring

Authorities said surveillance is ongoing, and suspected cases are being tested and monitored to prevent further spread.
