The tournament, which runs until July 18 in Lima, Peru, will feature 19 matches involving some of the world’s top softball nations.

World No. 1 Japan enters the competition as one of the favourites, alongside world No. 3 Puerto Rico. They will be joined by Great Britain, the Philippines, Venezuela, and tournament hosts Peru in a five-day battle for qualification.

Only the top two teams at the end of the competition will secure their places in the 2027 Women’s Softball World Cup Finals, making every match crucial.
