National U-19 Cricket Championship and One-Day Cup Kick Off
LAHORE – The National Men’s Under-19 Three-Day Cricket Championship and One-Day Cup are set to commence on Tuesday, September 10, across various venues in the country.
Eighteen regional teams representing sixteen regions will compete in these prestigious tournaments. The format includes three-day matches followed by corresponding one-day fixtures. The three-day final will be held from November 6 to 9, while the one-day final is scheduled for October 22. The venues for both finals will be announced in due course.
The 18 regional teams are divided into three groups for the initial phase, with matches played on a single-league basis until October 12. The top teams from each group will advance to the one-day matches from October 16 to 22. This will be followed by a three-day final league running from October 25 to November 9.
Defending champions Peshawar will aim to retain their title in the three-day format, while Karachi Whites will look to defend their one-day crown.
Groupings:
- Group A: FATA, Islamabad, Karachi Whites, Larkana, Multan, Quetta
- Group B: Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Karachi Blues, Lahore Blues, Rawalpindi
- Group C: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Dera Murad Jamali, Hyderabad, Lahore Whites, Peshawar, Sialkot
