Gold Rate in Pakistan Surges Further as Four Day Increase Crosses Rs. 8,000 Per Tola

Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 1,600 Per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Monday, with the rate of 24 karat gold rising by Rs. 1,600 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The precious metal was traded at Rs. 359,700 per tola, compared to Rs. 358,100 on the previous trading day.

Gold Sees Four-Day Rise of Rs. 8,200

This latest increase follows a significant upward movement last week, where gold prices climbed by Rs. 6,600 per tola between Thursday and Saturday. With Monday’s rise included, the total four-day gain now stands at Rs. 8,200 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs. 1,371, reaching Rs. 308,384.

Gold Rates in the International Market

Globally, gold was priced at $3,372 per ounce, with a $16 increase and a premium of $20, according to the Association’s latest update.

Silver Prices Also Rise

Meanwhile, silver also experienced a price hike, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs. 65 to reach Rs. 4,087.
