2nd Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference in Beijing Yields $8.5 Billion Deals

The 2nd Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference, organized by the Embassy of Pakistan on September 4, 2025, in Beijing, concluded with remarkable outcomes. The event was held in collaboration with Pakistan Consulates in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
In just one day, the conference facilitated 2,500–3,000 curated B2B meetings across 9 sectors and 40 sub-sectors, leading to the signing of 21 Joint Venture Agreements valued at USD 1.5 billion and over 100 MoUs worth more than USD 7 billion.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended both the opening and closing ceremonies, witnessed the signing of agreements, and delivered a keynote emphasizing Pakistan-China economic cooperation.

The conference focused on sector-specific matchmaking, with pitch books, guidelines, information notes, and online orientation sessions prepared to ensure precise outcomes.

A feedback mechanism was also implemented to measure the effectiveness of the strategy and results.
The success of the conference was made possible through the support of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, the Special Investment Facilitation Council, Board of Investment, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Industries & Production, and provincial departments.
Prime Minister Sharif highlighted China’s economic achievements, stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral trade and investment, and assured full facilitation, security, and rigorous follow-up on all signed MoUs and agreements.
Following the success of the inaugural edition in Shenzhen, this year’s conference stood out for its scale, preparation, and strategic approach, reinforcing Pakistan-China economic ties.
