Fuel Prices in Pakistan Likely to See Small Increase from October 1, 2025

Petroleum product prices in Pakistan are expected to see a slight upward revision starting October 1, 2025, due to recent changes in global crude oil trends.

According to industry sources, ex-refinery and ex-depot rates are projected to rise modestly. Petrol’s ex-refinery price is likely to move up by Rs. 1.97 per liter, from Rs. 160.93 to Rs. 162.90. High-speed diesel (HSD) may increase by Rs. 2.48 per liter, reaching Rs. 175.13.

Kerosene oil is expected to see a larger jump of Rs. 4.66 per liter, going from Rs. 151.62 to Rs. 156.27. Light diesel oil (LDO) may rise by Rs. 1.76 per liter, taking the rate from Rs. 141.63 to Rs. 143.39.

At the consumer level, ex-depot prices are also likely to reflect these adjustments. Petrol could increase from Rs. 264.61 to Rs. 266.58 per liter, while diesel may go from Rs. 272.77 to Rs. 275.25. Kerosene oil is expected to move to Rs. 184.61 per liter, and light diesel oil to Rs. 165.18.

If implemented, the revised prices will be effective from October 1 and will be officially announced by the government in the coming days.
