Strict Guidelines Issued to Ensure Privacy and Respect for Female Students in Exams

 Apr 13, 2026

The Chairman of the Matric Board, Ghulam Hussain, has issued new instructions for examination centers during the ongoing 9th and 10th class examinations to ensure a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for female students.

According to official directives, no complaints of cheating have been reported from girls’ examination centers so far.

Under the new guidelines, authorities have been instructed to ensure that female candidates are not asked to remove their veils, including burqas and abayas, during examinations. The aim is to maintain privacy while respecting cultural and religious values.

The chairman has warned that strict action will be taken against any staff members who violate these instructions or force students to remove their veils.

In addition, it has been directed that male invigilators should not be assigned to girls’ examination centers. This step is intended to further improve privacy, comfort, and confidence among female students during exams.
