Stars Clinch National Women’s T20 Title with Commanding Win Over Invincibles

Stars delivered a dominant performance in the final of the National Women’s T20 Tournament 2025–26, defeating Invincibles by 52 runs at the Ghani Glass Cricket Ground to successfully defend their title.
With this victory, Stars secured the championship trophy along with Rs. 1.5 million in prize money, concluding another impressive season.
Tuba Hassan Leads from the Front
Captain Tuba Hassan played a key role in the win with an outstanding all-round performance throughout the tournament. She finished with 192 runs and 10 wickets, earning the title of joint Player of the Tournament alongside Conquerors’ captain Fatima Sana, who scored 271 runs and took eight wickets.
In the final, Stars batted first and posted 156/9 in 20 overs. Tuba anchored the innings with a crucial 50 off 31 balls, hitting five fours and two sixes at a time when her team was under pressure at 96/7.
Sidra Amin also contributed with a valuable 30 off 23 balls, helping lift the total to a competitive score.
Invincibles Fall Short in Chase
Chasing 157, Invincibles were bowled out for 104 in 16.1 overs despite a quick start from captain Muneeba Ali, who scored 27 off just 13 deliveries.
Muneeba finished the tournament as the leading run-scorer, scoring 344 runs in nine matches, including four half-centuries, at a strike rate of 142.74. She was also named Best Batter of the tournament.
Strong Bowling Performance Secures Victory
The Stars’ bowling attack dominated the innings, with Tuba Hassan and Ayesha Bilal taking three wickets each, while Omaima Sohail claimed two wickets to wrap up a convincing win.
