Wolves Relegated as Crystal Palace and West Ham Draw 0-0 in Premier League Clash

West Ham United earned a crucial point after a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace on Monday, a result that also confirmed the relegation of Wolverhampton Wanderers from the Premier League.

The goalless draw in London helped West Ham move further away from the relegation zone, while also mathematically ending Wolves’ chances of survival. With only five matches remaining, Wolves can no longer collect enough points to escape the drop and will return to the Championship for the first time since 2018.

West Ham started the match strongly and had the better of the early chances, but neither side was able to break the deadlock. The first half ended 0-0, and although Crystal Palace improved after the break, clear scoring opportunities remained limited.

Both goalkeepers had a relatively quiet evening as the match finished without a goal.

After the final whistle, West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen said the point was important in the club’s fight for survival, emphasizing that the team must focus on its own performances rather than other results.

The result moves West Ham two points clear of the relegation zone, while confirming a difficult season for Wolves, whose struggles throughout the campaign ultimately led to their drop from the top flight in the Premier League.
