Sui Northern Announces Gas Supply Schedule for Eid ul Adha
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced its gas supply schedule for Eid ul Azha, ensuring extended availability of gas across its network during the three-day festival.
According to the company, consumers will receive gas supply for up to 18 hours daily with normal pressure in all districts under its jurisdiction.
Eid Gas Supply Timings
On the first day of Eid, gas will be available from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. On the second and third days, supply will remain available from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.
The company has also confirmed that gas supply will continue until midnight on Chand Raat and the night before Eid to facilitate household preparations.
Relief for Consumers During Eid
SNGPL stated that the schedule has been designed to support domestic consumers during peak cooking hours and ensure smoother gas availability during the festive period.
Meanwhile, Sui Southern Gas Company has also announced partial relief measures for Karachi, including uninterrupted gas supply during Sehri hours on the Day of Arafat, after which the regular schedule will resume.
Possible Supply Constraints
Despite the announced relief, some areas may still experience low pressure or intermittent supply due to increased demand during Eid.
Authorities have advised consumers to use gas responsibly and plan cooking activities according to the announced timings to avoid inconvenience.
