Pakistan Army Wins Top Honour at International Military Drill Competition in UK

The Pakistan Army has secured first position at an international military drill competition held in the United Kingdom, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a statement, ISPR said the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) team participated in the International Pace Sticking Competition 2026 held at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

The team achieved overall first position and received multiple awards, including the Best Pace Sticker and Best Driver titles.

A total of 16 teams from different countries took part in the annual competition. The Pakistan contingent, led by Major Haider Gulzar, arrived in the UK on June 5 to participate in the event.

ISPR described the achievement as a reflection of the training, discipline, and professionalism of the armed forces.

Pakistan has previously performed strongly in the same competition, including winning earlier editions in past years.

The country has also secured top positions in other international military exercises in recent years, highlighting consistent performance in global training events.
