Hyderabad Residents Face Disruption Due to Irregular Gas Supply

Residents of Hyderabad are reporting difficulties due to inconsistent gas supply and low pressure during scheduled distribution hours, according to local complaints.

Under the current schedule, gas supply is announced for specific time slots in the morning, afternoon, and evening. However, residents in several areas say that supply is often irregular and does not consistently meet household demand during these periods.

Consumers have reported that in some cases, gas pressure remains very low, making daily cooking routines difficult. Some residents also stated that it takes time for proper gas flow to begin after supply hours start.

A resident of Latifabad said that frequent pressure issues have made it challenging to manage household cooking within limited time windows.

Due to these issues, some households have reportedly started using alternative cooking methods, including electric appliances and LPG cylinders, which has increased monthly expenses for families already affected by rising utility costs.

Residents have also expressed concern over the lack of improvement despite repeated complaints, and have urged the concerned authorities to address the issue more effectively.

They said that earlier assurances about improved supply during specific hours have not been fully implemented in practice.

Citizens are calling for a more reliable gas distribution system to ensure consistent supply and better service delivery, particularly during peak usage hours.
