PIA Updates Schedule for Direct Lahore-Manchester Flights
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has completed preparations for the launch of its direct Lahore-Manchester service and announced an updated schedule for the route.
According to the airline, the first direct flight from Lahore to Manchester will depart on July 2, 2026. The route was previously scheduled to begin with a Manchester-to-Lahore flight on July 3, but the timetable has now been revised.
PIA stated that the service will operate once a week, providing passengers with a direct travel option between the two cities.
The airline has also released ticket prices for the new route. One-way Economy Class fares from Lahore to Manchester start at approximately Rs. 155,000, while Economy Plus fares are available for up to Rs. 270,000.
For round-trip travel, Economy Class tickets are priced at up to Rs. 350,000, while Economy Plus fares can reach Rs. 525,000.
PIA plans to operate the route using Boeing 777 aircraft, offering passengers additional comfort and convenience on long-haul journeys.
Airline officials said the direct service is expected to improve connectivity between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, particularly benefiting travelers and members of the Pakistani community living in Manchester and surrounding areas.
