Brno to Host 2026 Baseball Champions League Europe Final Four

The Brno City Baseball Stadium in Brno, Czechia, has been selected to host the 2026 Baseball Champions League (BCL) Europe Final Four, with the tournament scheduled for September 26-27.
The announcement was made by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), marking another major international baseball event for the Czech city.
Four Top European Clubs to Compete
The Final Four will feature four of Europe’s leading baseball clubs that qualified through the group stage held earlier this year.
The semifinal matchups are:
- Curaçao Neptunus (Netherlands) vs. Draci Brno (Czechia)
- Parma 1949 (Italy) vs. Tenerife Marlins (Spain)
The winners of the two semifinals will advance to the championship game to determine the first-ever Baseball Champions League Europe winner.
The complete tournament schedule will be announced closer to the event.
Brno Chosen as Host City
WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari said Brno has earned a strong reputation as one of Europe’s leading baseball cities and is an ideal venue to host the inaugural Final Four.
He added that the tournament was created to showcase the growing strength of club baseball across Europe while providing players and fans with a high-level international competition.
Road to the Final Four
The competition began with a group stage hosted in Regensburg, Germany, and Rotterdam, Netherlands, featuring eight top clubs from Czechia, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain.
The top two teams from each group advanced to the Final Four after several days of competitive action.
About Brno City Baseball Stadium
Opened in 2007, Brno City Baseball Stadium serves as the home ground of Draci Brno, one of the Czech Republic’s most successful baseball clubs.
The venue has a seating capacity of around 400 spectators and includes multiple baseball fields, training facilities, batting cages, and other modern amenities. It has regularly hosted Czech Extraliga games, European championships, and international baseball development events.
Growing Global Baseball Champions League
The Baseball Champions League Europe is part of the WBSC’s broader vision of expanding international club baseball competitions.
The first Baseball Champions League Americas was held in 2023, followed by additional editions in 2025 and 2026, featuring champion clubs from across the Americas and Asia.
