Lahore Education Authority Plans Action Against Unregistered Private Schools
LAHORE: The Lahore District Education Authority has intensified its campaign against unregistered private schools, with plans to take action against 213 educational institutions that have not completed the required registration process.
According to officials, a summary has been forwarded to the district administration to initiate legal action in accordance with applicable regulations.
Registration Rules to Be Enforced
Education authorities said the latest action follows an earlier enforcement campaign in which several private schools were sealed for failing to meet registration requirements.
Officials added that institutions continuing to operate without completing the mandatory registration process may also face similar action.
Final Notices Issued
Tariq Mahmood said that 744 private schools have already been issued final notices directing them to complete their registration within the prescribed timeframe.
Authorities emphasized that registration is a legal requirement designed to help ensure compliance with education and safety standards.
Schools Listed in Official Proceedings
According to officials, the list of institutions identified for action includes several private schools operating in different parts of Lahore.
Education authorities stated that each institution will be dealt with according to the relevant laws and administrative procedures.

The Lahore District Education Authority reiterated that all private educational institutions must comply with registration regulations.
Officials said the enforcement campaign will continue without discrimination, adding that schools meeting the required legal and regulatory standards will be allowed to continue their operations in accordance with provincial education policies.
