The WNBA All-Star 3-Point Contest is set to take place on Friday night in Chicago, featuring some of the league’s top long-range shooters competing for the title.

Leading the field are Marina Mabrey of the Toronto Tempo and Rhyne Howard of the Atlanta Dream, who currently rank among the league leaders in three-pointers made this season.

Star-Studded Contest Lineup

The six-player field includes:

  • Marina Mabrey (Toronto Tempo)
  • Rhyne Howard (Atlanta Dream)
  • Azzi Fudd (Dallas)
  • Natisha Hiedeman (Seattle)
  • Bridget Carleton (Portland)
  • Janelle Salaun (Golden State)

Some Stars Opt Out

Several notable players, including Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu, and Kayla McBride, will not participate in this year’s competition.

Ionescu captured the 2025 WNBA All-Star 3-Point Contest title after defeating Allisha Gray in the final round.

Under the league’s new collective bargaining agreement (CBA), prize money for the event has increased:

  • Winner: $20,000
  • Each participant: $10,000

The annual competition remains one of the highlights of WNBA All-Star Weekend, showcasing the league’s top perimeter shooters in an exciting display of skill and accuracy.
