Security Forces Eliminate 32 Militants in Operations Across KP and Balochistan, Says ISPR
Pakistan’s security forces carried out a series of counterterrorism operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan, eliminating 32 militants during the past 24 hours, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The military’s media wing said the operations were conducted in multiple areas as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security and dismantle militant networks operating in the two provinces.
Operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
According to ISPR, security forces conducted several intelligence-based and area clearance operations in Khyber district on July 28 and 29. During these operations, 24 militants were killed.
Operations in Balochistan
In a separate operation in Nushki, Balochistan, security personnel engaged militants during intelligence-based missions, resulting in the elimination of eight militants.
ISPR said security forces also recovered and destroyed weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) during the operations.
Clearance Operations Continue
The military stated that follow-up search and clearance operations are continuing to ensure the areas are fully secured and to locate any remaining militants or their facilitators.
According to the statement, Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue nationwide counterterrorism efforts under the government’s security strategy aimed at maintaining peace and stability.
Security Situation
The latest operations come as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan continue to face security challenges, with authorities carrying out regular intelligence-based operations to counter militant activity.
Security agencies have intensified operations in recent weeks following several attacks targeting law enforcement personnel and public infrastructure in different parts of the country.
Officials say counterterrorism efforts will continue as part of ongoing measures to improve security and protect civilians across Pakistan.
