Pakistan women’s cricket team captain Fatima Sana has signed with the Vancouver Anchors for the upcoming Canada Super 60 tournament, scheduled to take place from September 29 to October 4.

The franchise confirmed the signing through its official social media channels, welcoming the 24-year-old bowling all-rounder to its squad for the inaugural season.

The announcement comes just ahead of another major milestone in Fatima Sana’s career. She is expected to become the first Pakistan women’s cricketer to feature in The Hundred, where she could make her debut for Birmingham Phoenix against Southern Brave.

Fatima was added to the Birmingham Phoenix squad as an overseas replacement after Lucy Hamilton withdrew from the tournament to manage her workload. She will receive the tournament’s standard overseas player contract.

The Pakistan captain earned the opportunity following an impressive all-round performance during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. In a closely contested match against South Africa, she scored an unbeaten half-century and also claimed three wickets, highlighting her value as a genuine all-rounder.

With this signing, Fatima Sana continues to make significant progress on the international franchise circuit, further strengthening Pakistan’s presence in global women’s cricket.

She also joins fellow Pakistani players competing in The Hundred, reflecting the growing recognition of Pakistan’s cricket talent in international leagues.
