Poco X8 Launched Globally With 8,340mAh Battery and 67W Charging
Poco has officially introduced the Poco X8 in global markets, adding a new model to its X-series smartphone lineup.
The new device features a large AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and an 8,340mAh battery. It also comes with multiple IP ratings for protection against dust and water.
The global launch comes ahead of the phone’s expected arrival in India, where Poco is also preparing to introduce the X8 Power.
Poco X8 Display and Design
The Poco X8 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 2772 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The screen has a claimed peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits, which should make content easier to view in bright outdoor environments.
The phone measures 163.45 x 78.27 x 8.6mm and weighs approximately 223 grams. It will be available in Black, White and Orange color options.
For durability, Poco has equipped the device with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, offering protection against dust and different levels of water exposure.
Processor, RAM and Storage
The Poco X8 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and runs Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 interface.
The smartphone is offered in three memory configurations:
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage
European markets are expected to receive the 256GB storage versions.
Poco X8 Camera Setup
The smartphone comes with a dual-camera system on the rear.
Its primary camera uses a 50MP sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), along with an 8MP ultrawide camera. The ultrawide lens offers a 120-degree field of view.
For selfies and video calls, the Poco X8 features a 16MP front-facing camera.
Large Battery With 67W Charging
The biggest hardware feature of the Poco X8 is its 8,340mAh battery.
The battery supports 67W wired charging, while 22.5W reverse wired charging allows the phone to provide power to compatible devices.
Poco claims the battery can retain at least 80% of its original capacity after up to 1,600 charging cycles.

In Europe, the Poco X8 starts at €399.99 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration.
The higher-end 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at €449.99.
