Islamabad Revises Timings for Two Electric Bus Routes

The Capital Mass Transit Authority (CMTW) has announced revised operating hours for two electric bus routes in Islamabad due to the prevailing law and order situation.

The new schedule for FR-08B and FR-17 will take effect from September 22.

FR-08B New Timings

Under the revised schedule, the last FR-08B bus will leave from FWD (Khana Pul) at 7:00pm.

The final bus operating in the opposite direction will depart from BWD (Nilore at 8:00pm.

FR-17 New Timings

For the FR-17 route, the last bus from FWD (Humak) will depart at 7:00pm.

The final service from BWD (Aari Syedan) will leave at 8:00pm.

Passengers Advised to Plan Ahead

CMTW has advised passengers to plan their evening travel according to the updated timetable.

Commuters have also been asked to leave early enough to reach their stops before the final scheduled departures.

The authority said it is monitoring the situation and will announce further changes if required.
