Ashley Noffke Resigns as Pakistan White-Ball Bowling Coach

Former Australian cricketer Ashley Noffke has stepped down as Pakistan’s white-ball bowling coach after around 16 months in the position.

Noffke has informed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) of his decision and is set to become head coach of the Netherlands’ white-ball team under a two-year agreement.

The Australian coach will, however, remain with Pakistan for the 2026 Asian Games, which will be his final assignment with the national side.

Pakistan’s men’s cricket team is scheduled to enter the Asian Games at the quarter-final stage on September 28.

Noffke joined Pakistan’s coaching setup in May 2025 as bowling coach under white-ball head coach Mike Hesson.

The former fast bowler played one ODI and two T20Is for Australia during his international career.

In September 2026, Noffke was also given temporary responsibility as Pakistan’s Test bowling coach during the team’s tour of England.

He assumed the role after the PCB parted ways with Umar Gul following Pakistan’s defeats in the first two Tests at Headingley and Lord’s.

Noffke handled the bowling department for the remainder of the series, but Pakistan went on to lose the third Test by eight wickets, completing a 3-0 series defeat.

Following his departure, the PCB is expected to make further decisions regarding its coaching setup.
