Inter Milan Beat Parma 3-0 as Kevin De Bruyne Inspires Napoli Victory Inter Milan continued their impressive start to the Serie A season with a convincing 3-0 victory over Parma, while Kevin De Bruyne scored twice to help Napoli secure a comfortable win against Frosinone on Saturday. Inter delivered a dominant first-half performance at San Siro, scoring three goals within the opening 31 minutes to strengthen their position at the top of the Italian league standings. Petar Sucic opened the scoring before Hakan Calhanoglu converted a penalty to double the hosts’ advantage. Marcus Thuram then added a third goal, putting the result beyond Parma’s reach. The victory took Inter to 16 points from six matches, maintaining their strong start to the campaign. Inter manager Cristian Chivu expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance, particularly after a three-week international break. He praised the players for their work during the training period and said the team had responded well on their return to competitive action. For Parma, the defeat marked a disappointing start to Alberto Gilardino’s tenure. He recently took charge following the departure of Carlos Cuesta in late September. Gilardino acknowledged that his team had started reasonably well but said costly mistakes had allowed Inter to take control of the match. De Bruyne Scores Twice as Napoli Overcome Frosinone Napoli returned to winning ways with a 3-0 home victory over Frosinone, with Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne playing a central role in the result. The hosts initially struggled to break down their opponents but were awarded a penalty in the 29th minute. Rasmus Hojlund’s first attempt was saved by goalkeeper Lorenzo Palmisani, but the referee ordered a retake after ruling that the goalkeeper had moved off his line. De Bruyne stepped up for the second attempt and converted to give Napoli the lead. The home side extended their advantage just three minutes later when Noa Lang found the net, putting Napoli in a comfortable position. De Bruyne completed the scoring late in the match with a close-range finish, securing his second goal of the evening and confirming Napoli’s victory. The match also marked an important moment for Scott McTominay, who returned to the squad after recovering from a heart problem. The midfielder began the game on the bench and entered shortly after the hour mark, receiving a warm reception from the home supporters. Although McTominay did not score, his return provided an encouraging development for Napoli. The win offered Napoli a timely boost after a difficult run of results that had included two defeats and a draw in their previous five matches. They moved to sixth place with 10 points. Speaking after the match, De Bruyne stressed the importance of securing the victory and acknowledged the challenges posed by the busy fixture schedule. Serie A Title Race Continues Inter’s victory strengthened their position at the top of the table, while Napoli’s three points helped them improve their standing as the competition continued. AS Roma and Lazio, both on 13 points, were scheduled to play on Sunday. Roma were set to travel to Como, while Lazio were due to host Monza. Cagliari, who had collected 12 points to sit fourth, faced a challenging home fixture against Juventus. With several teams competing near the top of the standings, the upcoming matches were expected to have an important impact on the early Serie A title race.
