Diesel Price Crosses Rs. 400 Per Litre in Pakistan
Pakistan’s fuel prices have continued to rise, with the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) crossing the Rs. 400 per litre mark following another increase announced by the government.
According to the latest fuel price update, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 5.02 per litre, taking it to Rs. 375.82 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has risen by Rs. 5.28 per litre, reaching Rs. 403.32 per litre.
The latest revision marks the fifth consecutive increase in petrol prices as fuel rates continue to be adjusted on a daily basis.

Just a day earlier, petrol was priced at Rs. 370.80 per litre, while diesel was available at Rs. 398.04 per litre. Petrol had increased by Rs. 3.05 and diesel by Rs. 5.37 on Thursday.
Fuel Prices Rise Sharply Since Daily Revisions Began
Since the introduction of daily fuel price revisions, petrol has become Rs. 64.52 per litre more expensive, while the price of diesel has increased by Rs. 73.81 per litre.
The latest figures highlight the sharp movement in fuel prices over the past several weeks.
