Factory Worker Dies After Lift Accident in Multan

A factory worker lost his life after a lift reportedly crashed at a manufacturing unit near Chungi No. 11 in Multan, according to rescue officials.

The victim, identified as 53-year-old Mustafa, suffered critical injuries when the lift suddenly fell during the incident.

Rescue 1122 teams responded quickly, providing first aid and performing CPR before shifting the injured worker to Nishtar Hospital. Despite medical efforts, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.

Preliminary Investigation Underway

According to initial findings from rescue officials, the accident appears to have been caused by a broken lift cable, which led to the lift’s sudden سقوط. Authorities are expected to conduct a detailed investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident.

The tragic accident has once again highlighted the importance of regular maintenance of industrial equipment and workplace safety measures to help prevent similar incidents in the future.
