NADRA Pak ID App Updated With New Digital Vehicle Services

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has released Pak ID mobile app version 5.6.8, introducing new digital services for vehicle owners in Balochistan.

The latest update, developed in collaboration with the Government of Balochistan, allows users to access digital vehicle registration cards for vehicles registered in the province directly through the Pak ID application.

New Features in Pak ID Version 5.6.8

With the latest release, Balochistan residents can now:

  • View digital vehicle registration cards within the Pak ID app.
  • Complete biometric verification for the sale and purchase of Balochistan-registered vehicles remotely.
  • Access these services online without visiting a physical office in many cases.

According to NADRA, the update is aimed at improving convenience and expanding access to digital public services for citizens.

Previous Pak ID Update Introduced “View Card” Feature

The latest release follows Pak ID version 5.6.6, which introduced the “View Card” feature for identity card applicants.

The feature enables users to preview their National Identity Card before submitting an application, review the entered information, and make corrections if needed before final submission.

Digital Civil Registration Services Also Expanded

Version 5.6.6 also introduced digital registration services for:

  • Birth registration
  • Death registration
  • Marriage registration
  • Divorce registration

These services were initially launched in all village and neighborhood councils across Peshawar and are expected to be expanded to other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in phases.

NADRA Continues to Expand Digital Services

NADRA says it is continuing to enhance the Pak ID platform by adding new online services that help citizens complete government-related processes more conveniently through their smartphones.

The authority encourages users to keep the Pak ID application updated to access the latest features and improvements as they become available.
