The 2026 FIFA World Cup is moving into the knockout phase, with the Round of 32 set to begin after the conclusion of the group stage.

How teams qualify for the Round of 32
The top two teams from each of the 12 groups automatically advance, along with the eight best third-placed teams across all groups.
Knockout stage schedule
The Round of 32 will take place from June 28 to July 4. Winners of these matches will move on to the Round of 16.
