Japan’s star pitcher Hiroki Ikeda has been named the Most Valuable Player of The World Games Men’s Softball competition, as the tournament’s All-World Team was revealed, featuring top players from all four medalling nations.

Ikeda played a crucial role in Japan’s gold medal victory, pitching 17 of the team’s 25 defensive innings. He led the tournament in wins (2), complete games (2), innings pitched (17), and strikeouts (23), showcasing his dominance on the mound.

The All-World Team includes:
