IESCO Announces Scheduled Power Outages in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Jhelum
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced planned power outages in parts of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, and surrounding areas on Thursday to carry out routine maintenance and development work.
According to IESCO, electricity supply will be restored as soon as the maintenance work is completed.
Islamabad Circle
Power supply will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in areas served by the following feeders:
- Kurri
- Rehara
- CM Pak Zong
- IT Park
Rawalpindi Cantt Circle
Consumers connected to the following feeders will experience a scheduled outage from 6:00 am to 10:00 am:
- LTC
- New Mandra
- Old Mandra
- Hamid Jhangi
- Old Rawat
- New Rawat
- AOWHS
- Suparco
- CWO
Jhelum Circle
Electricity will remain unavailable from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in areas supplied by:
- Hayat Sir Road
- Karyala
- Metro City
- Grand City
- Bolani
GSO Circle
Additional maintenance work will affect the following areas:
- 6:00 am to 1:00 pm: Cap. Nasir, Col. Akram, Mangla Cantt, Dina-3, and Dina-4 feeders.
- 9:00 am to 4:00 pm: 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani–Burhan transmission lines.
- 8:00 am to 6:00 pm: 132kV Kahuta City–Palandri and 132kV New Wah–Bahtermore transmission lines, including connected equipment and nearby areas.
IESCO Advisory
IESCO has advised consumers that electricity may be restored before the announced schedule if maintenance work is completed ahead of time. The utility has also apologized for the temporary inconvenience and thanked customers for their cooperation during the maintenance activities.
