Jadon Sancho emerges as a new target for Atlético Madrid

Atlético Madrid Eyes Loan Deal for Jadon Sancho Amid Competition from Borussia Dortmund

Atlético Madrid is preparing a loan offer to acquire Jadon Sancho from Manchester United, seeing the English winger as a valuable addition to their attacking lineup. The club plans to propose a loan fee of €5 million as part of the deal.

After signing notable players like Álex Baena and Johnny Cardoso, Atlético continues to strengthen their squad under Diego Simeone, with Sancho potentially being their next key signing alongside the possible arrival of Giacomo Raspadori.

Manchester United are keen to move on from Sancho following his less impactful loan at Chelsea. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund, where Sancho previously excelled, remain strong contenders to re-sign the winger. Reports indicate Sancho is open to taking a salary reduction of up to 30% to return to Germany.

Sancho’s contract with Manchester United runs until June 2026, which may require a short-term extension for a loan deal to avoid losing him on a free transfer next summer.
