Jaffar Express Service Suspended for Two Days

The Jaffar Express, which operates between Quetta and Peshawar, has been suspended for two days, according to Pakistan Railways officials.

The railway authorities confirmed that no Jaffar Express service will depart from Quetta for Peshawar on August 25 and 26.

Passengers who had already booked tickets for the affected dates have reportedly been issued refunds for their fares.

Reason for Suspension Not Announced

Pakistan Railways has not yet provided an official reason for the temporary suspension of the service.

The latest disruption is another interruption for the Jaffar Express this month. The train service has reportedly been suspended at least three times in August.

Earlier, a Jaffar Express operating from Peshawar to Quetta was terminated at Jacobabad Railway Station instead of completing its scheduled journey to Quetta.

Passengers planning to travel on the route are advised to confirm the latest train schedule with Pakistan Railways before making their travel arrangements.
