Karachi Faces Possible Milk Shortage as Animal Feed Supply Remains Disrupted

Karachi could experience a temporary shortage of milk and dairy products as disruptions in the supply of animal feed continue to affect livestock farmers.

According to reports, the Dairy Farmers Association has requested immediate government intervention, warning that prolonged interruptions in fodder transportation could impact milk production across the city.

The association says the transportation of animal feed from Sindh and Balochistan has remained suspended since July 20, leading to a shortage of fodder for livestock.
