Karachi Gears Up for Lifebuoy One Run International Half Marathon 2026
Karachi is preparing to host the Lifebuoy One Run International Half Marathon 2026 on May 23, with more than 1,500 runners expected to participate in one of the city’s biggest running events of the year.
The event will be organized along the scenic Abdul Sattar Edhi Road (Seaview), starting and finishing at Emaar Ocean Front, DHA Phase 8. Runners from across different age groups and fitness levels will take part.
Participants will have the option to choose from four race categories: 1 km, 5 km, 10 km, and the full 21.1 km half-marathon, making the event open to both beginners and experienced runners.
Organizers say the event aims to promote fitness, community engagement, and a healthy lifestyle, while also connecting Karachi with a global running movement. The marathon is part of an international series held simultaneously in multiple countries.
On the same day, thousands of runners worldwide will also participate, turning it into a global celebration of fitness and unity.
Local organizers have highlighted the growing popularity of running events in Karachi, noting increasing participation each year from families, students, and professional athletes.
