KP Announces Summer Vacation Schedule for Colleges and Universities
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department has officially announced summer vacations for public and private colleges and universities across the province.
According to a notification issued by the department, educational institutions in the plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will observe summer holidays from June 15 to August 31, 2026.
For institutions located in colder and mountainous regions, summer vacations will be observed from July 1 to July 31, 2026.
Authorities clarified that academic activities related to ongoing examinations and four-year BS degree programs will continue as per the approved academic calendar.
Institutions have been instructed to ensure that academic requirements are completed without interruption during this period.
The notification also confirmed that all examinations scheduled during the vacation period will be held as planned, and students will be required to follow the official examination timetable.
The decision has been taken to provide relief to students and staff during the summer season while maintaining continuity in academic and examination schedules.
