LESCO Announces No Load Shedding During Eid al-Adha Holidays

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced uninterrupted electricity supply during the Eid al-Adha holidays, providing major relief to consumers amid rising temperatures and increased power demand.

According to LESCO officials, no scheduled load shedding will be carried out in areas under the company’s jurisdiction during the Eid holidays.

Special Arrangements for Eid

LESCO Chief Executive Officer Engineer Muhammad Ramzan Butt said the company has completed all necessary preparations to maintain a smooth power supply throughout Eid al-Adha.

He stated that emergency response measures have also been strengthened to deal with any technical faults or unexpected power disruptions.

Steps to Improve Services

The LESCO chief said the company is also working to address issues including overbilling, electricity theft, and delays in providing new electricity connections.

Officials have directed teams to immediately replace transformers damaged by overloading or technical issues to minimize disruptions in electricity transmission.

Field Teams on High Alert

LESCO said field staff and operational teams will remain on high alert during the holiday period to ensure quick handling of consumer complaints and technical problems.

The announcement is expected to provide relief to residents of Lahore and surrounding areas as electricity demand continues to rise during the summer season and Eid celebrations.
