Linda Noskova Wins Berlin Open 2026 Title After Defeating Jessica Pegula

Czech tennis player Linda Noskova has won the Berlin Open 2026 title after defeating Jessica Pegula in a closely contested final on Sunday in Berlin.

The 21-year-old secured a 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 victory over the former US Open finalist in a match that lasted three sets and was briefly delayed due to rain. Despite the interruption, play resumed under clear conditions later in the day.

With this win, Noskova claimed her first grass-court title and her second WTA 500-level trophy. She also remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, dropping no sets in her earlier matches.

The final began with Noskova taking an early lead, breaking Pegula’s serve to gain an advantage in the opening set. Pegula responded strongly, breaking back and staying competitive throughout the match.

In the second set, Pegula improved her rhythm and managed to level the contest by breaking Noskova late in the set.

The deciding set saw Noskova regain control with an early break. Although Pegula continued to challenge her, Noskova maintained her composure and successfully served out the match to secure the championship.

Following this victory, Noskova is expected to enter the world’s top 10 rankings for the first time in her career.
