Pakistan, Saudi Arabia Expand Cooperation in AI and Data Technologies
Both countries discuss long-term partnership in artificial intelligence, data governance and emerging technologies
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to deepen their cooperation in artificial intelligence, data governance and other emerging technologies, paving the way for stronger collaboration in the digital sector.
The understanding was reached during a meeting between Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja and Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) President Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the LEAP 2026 technology conference in Riyadh, where both sides discussed opportunities to develop a broader and sustainable technology partnership.
Focus on AI and Data Governance
The two officials explored the possibility of establishing a comprehensive framework for cooperation covering artificial intelligence, data governance and advanced technologies.
The discussions highlighted the growing importance of AI and data-driven solutions in the development of modern digital economies.
