Pakistan Women Announce Squad for Zimbabwe T20I Series
Pakistan women’s national cricket team has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe women’s national cricket team.
The series will take place at National Bank Stadium from May 12 to May 15.
Pakistan and Zimbabwe are currently competing in a three-match ODI series at the same venue, with Pakistan already securing the series lead after winning the opening two matches.
Fatima Sana will continue to captain the side for the T20I series. All matches are scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. local time.
Two players, Amber Kainat and Saira Jabeen, have received their maiden call-ups to Pakistan’s T20I squad.
Amber Kainat impressed during the recent National Women’s T20 Tournament, where the right-arm pacer claimed 11 wickets in eight matches while representing the Invincibles. Saira Jabeen was also part of Pakistan’s recent squad during the South Africa tour.
