The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) continued its positive momentum against the US Dollar (USD) on Friday, marking its 190th consecutive trading day of gains, according to the latest interbank market data.

The local currency appreciated by 3 paisas, with the US dollar closing at Rs. 278.12, compared to the previous session.

The rupee has maintained a steady upward trend against the dollar since December 25, 2025.

Performance Against Major Currencies

The Pakistani rupee also recorded modest gains against several regional currencies:

  • Saudi Riyal (SAR): Gained 1 paisa
