Over 200,000 Pakistanis Complete Hajj 2027 Registration in First 11 Days
More than 200,000 prospective pilgrims have completed their Hajj 2027 registration within the first 11 days of the registration process, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The ministry reported that approximately 180,000 applicants registered through the official online portal, while another 24,000 people completed their registration using the dedicated mobile application.
Government Scheme Remains the Preferred Choice
Official figures show that over 154,000 applicants selected the government Hajj scheme, while nearly 49,000 people chose the private Hajj scheme.
The strong response reflects growing use of digital registration services, allowing applicants to complete the process from home.
Punjab Leads Registration Numbers
Punjab recorded the highest number of registrations, with around 95,000 applicants completing the process.
Other provincial registration figures include:
- Sindh: Approximately 63,000 applicants
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Around 28,000 applicants
- Islamabad: Nearly 9,000 applicants
- Balochistan: About 5,500 applicants
- Azad Jammu and Kashmir: Around 1,200 applicants
- Gilgit-Baltistan: Approximately 600 applicants
Registration by Gender
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the registration data includes:
- 119,000 male applicants
- 84,500 female applicants
The ministry is expected to continue the registration process according to the announced schedule, with further details regarding Hajj arrangements and application procedures to be shared in the coming months.
Officials have encouraged intending pilgrims to use the official online portal and mobile application for registration and to rely only on authentic government sources for Hajj-related information.
