Petrol and Diesel Prices Revised in Pakistan

The Government of Pakistan has announced a new revision in the prices of petroleum products, with updated rates coming into effect from Tuesday night.

According to the latest notification issued by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 4.93 per litre, bringing the new rate to Rs. 320.73 per litre.

Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been raised by Rs. 7.15 per litre, setting the new rate at Rs. 367.21 per litre.

The revised prices were confirmed through an official OGRA notification released after the government’s announcement.

The price update comes shortly after the All Pakistan Petroleum Pump Owners Association announced plans for an indefinite nationwide strike over concerns regarding the proposed daily petroleum price adjustment mechanism. The association has called for continued dialogue with the government to resolve the matter.

Earlier this week, petroleum prices had also been revised. At that time, the price of petrol was reduced by Rs. 0.35 per litre to Rs. 315.80 per litre, while high-speed diesel increased by Rs. 5.71 per litre to Rs. 360.06 per litre.

Consumers are advised to rely on official government notifications for the latest information regarding petroleum prices and related developments.
