Punjab Makes B-Form Mandatory for Class 5 and 8 Board Exam Registration
The Punjab government has reportedly introduced a new requirement for students appearing in Class 5 and Class 8 board examinations, making the B-Form number mandatory for registration.
According to media reports, schools must now provide a valid B-Form number while registering students for the upcoming board examinations.
Registration Requires Valid B-Form Number
Under the updated registration process, schools will not be able to complete a student’s registration without entering a valid B-Form number.
The registration system has also reportedly identified students whose records were previously submitted without a B-Form number and marked them as unverified.
Schools Asked to Update Student Records
Education authorities have directed schools to review and update the records of all affected students by adding the required B-Form information.
Teachers, head teachers, and registration officials have been instructed to complete any pending updates to ensure that student registrations are processed successfully.
Registration Deadline
According to the report, August 8 has been set as the deadline for completing registrations.
Schools have been advised to verify all student records before the closing date to avoid delays or issues during the board examination registration process.
Students and parents are encouraged to ensure that the required documentation is available and submitted to their schools well before the deadline.
